R5 — Thresholds that would change the assessment — name the gaps so they can be filled

Rule

Rule: Whenever this brief's findings are cited as fact, name the specific evidence threshold that would move "gap" / "Directional" labels toward "Verified." Until those thresholds are met, hold the relevant claims as gaps.

Why: The category's evidence base is thin on three specific items: (i) launch/completion rate (DIY-platform launch / completion rate — no independent, survivorship-corrected figure exists), (ii) DIY-segmented churn (no vendor discloses; only Wix "over 35% of paid users don't renew for a second year" — NOT a Wix disclosure; analyst (Mick Weinstein, 2014) interpretation approximates it via analyst interpretation), (iii) DIY-segmented outcome data (DIY-platform outcome data (leads / sales / conversions) — essentially nonexistent in independent literature).

How to apply: An independent, survivorship-corrected study of any of the three would change the assessment. Treat any vendor or aggregator claim that purports to answer one of these as quarantined until methodology is verified.
