The studio has been at this since 1996. Most of the work has never been published. Case studies will land here as the projects warrant it, with the client's permission and the outcomes measured honestly. No fictional logos in the meantime, and no retroactive trophies from three decades of work that was never measured the way the writing measures it now.
The early slate is the work we set out to do — websites and software for people who build things. General contractors, fabricators, small manufacturers, trades operating out of a yard somewhere in Waterloo Region. The studies will read like field reports because the work does.
Our policy is that a case study goes up once it can be told accurately — named clients, named tools, and real before-and-after numbers measured against the same speed test Google uses on real visitors over weeks of real use. No cherry-picked results from a single test run in ideal conditions.
In the meantime, the way to evaluate whether we can do the work is to read the writing. The first long-form piece is the kind of thinking we apply to every audit and every build.
