Rule — Replace vague hedging with confident conditional framing

Rule

Rule: Frame uncertainty as "Based on your answers..." / "For situations like yours..." — never as "this is just a rough guess" / "could be higher or lower."

Why: Quantified or input-conditioned uncertainty is safe (van der Bles et al. 2020 PNAS — numeric uncertainty ranges do NOT damage trust in the source); unquantified hedging erodes trust in BOTH the number AND the source (Kerr et al. 2023 — VAGUE verbal hedging undermines trust in both number AND source).

How to apply: Forbidden phrases — "we think," "approximately," "rough estimate," "ballpark." Required phrases — "Based on the 12 inputs you gave us," "For businesses in your category and location."
